PEWAUKEE HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
FACIAL TISSUE DRIVE - OCTOBER 20-23
In conjunction with Nursing Services at PHS, the Pathology Club is running a facial tissue October 20-23. áThe goal is to stock each classroom with at least two tissue boxes prior to the start of the cold and flu season. áTreats and motivators are available for those students that bring in boxes to support this mission. á

The Pathology Club will be set up by the main PHS entrance during Resource to collect donations.

2014-2015 Yearbooks can be purchased by visiting theáJostens website.

Prices for 2014-2015 yearbooks are:
  • $57: When purchased July 18 - November 2
  • $65:áWhen purchasedáNovember 3 - January 18
  • $100:áWhen purchasedáJanuary 18 - End of School Year

STUDENT ILLNESS REMINDERS
With cold & flu season closing in, please keep the following in mind for your child:
  • If your student will be out for the day, please call Mrs. Jeanne Hass at the Attendance Desk at 262-695-5017.
  • If your student has an appointment that will require him/her to leave during the school day, please have them bring a dated, signed note to the main office when they arrive in the morning OR call Mrs. Jeanne Hassáat 262-695-5017. á(The Main Office will issue them an Off-Campus Pass to have signed at the appointment.)
  • Students who wish to go home due to illness need to see the school nurse to obtain permission to sign out. Remember that under no circumstances are students to leave school during the day without first reportingá to the office and having your departure approved.

SENIOR YEARBOOK PHOTOS
Senior yearbook photos should be turned into Mr. Ryan Corderáno later than Friday, October 31. áThe photo may be delivered in printed copy (of at least standard wallet size) or a digital high-res image (via email to cordrya@pewaukeeschools.org or on CD/flash drive.)

Please be mindful of the following requirements:
  • Photos must be vertical/portrait orientation (not horizontal/landscape).
  • Photos may be color or black and white.
  • If worn, cap brims must be straight forward.
  • No offensive logos or messages, weapons, excessive cleavage, or bare midriffs.
  • PHSáadministration and yearbook staff reserve the right to request an alternate photo if photo submitted does not meet appropriate requirements.

Only those students who have obtained parking permits are allowed to park on school property.

The diagonal parking spaces located in front of the school are for visitors to the school and substitute use only.

Students may apply for a parking space during the 2014-2015 school year by submitting thisáGoogle form. á(Student Parking Map can be foundáhere.) áOnly spots available in Tiers 1 & 2 remain for purchase.

Cars that are parked illegally or improperly will be ticketed by the Village of Pewaukee Police and may be subject to tow at owner's expense.

NEWSWEEK/THE DAILY BEAST RECOGNIZE PHS

Pewaukee High School was once again named one of America's Best High Schools by Newsweek/The Daily Beast. áPHS was rated as the 5th best high school in Wisconsin and number 202 in the entire United States. Criteria for this designation includes ACT scores, college level courses and graduation and college acceptance rates. áThis prestigious designation comes on top of the Washington Post naming PHS as one of the nations Most Challenging High Schools.
